I'm writing this testimonial for Yvonne Agnello-Adams. I stumbled on Yvonne due to a scheduled work seminar, but I am so glad I did because she truly is a rare and magical person. Everyone at work talked about how boring these seminars were and how they would almost rather just be at work. From the second I walked in the room, I knew that my co-workers hadn’t attended a seminar with Yvonne. She was so full of energy and life for the work she was doing; I couldn't help but be caught up in her passion. I could relate to everything she spoke about in a personal way; it almost felt like it was just the two of us having a conversation even though we were in a room full of people. It was then I realized that I wanted Yvonne to take part in the transformation of my life from being asleep to being awake. Her uplifting, positive, and fun personality makes her easy to open up to and wonderful to work with. The personal experiences she shares and has overcome inspired me to believe that I can accomplish whatever dream I choose for myself, with the help of Yvonne’s guidance along the way.
Yvonne is one of the best speakers I have listened to. She is very engaging and and kept my attention the entire time. It was very easy to understand what she was teaching us. She was punctual, kind and very enjoyable to be around. .
Yvonne's energy and passion, mixed with compassion, creates an environment not just of learning, but of desire and drive. The lessons that she was able to vividly share left us all with the confidence that we are better than we know. We are stronger individuals than we’ve dared to imagine. And she has provided us the tools to put our plans into action and to achieve our goals. I know my take-aways from this seminar will far exceed their standard shelf life. One point Ms. Agnello-Adams drove home is that one has to be credible in order to effectively communicate. I can only analogize her skills one way; clichés being what they are, “The older I get, the smarter my parents become.” Parents only want what’s best for their children. They attempt to share life lessons so their children don’t have to go through the same trials they did. Those lessons are often met with resistance. Ms. Agnello-Adams’ credibility allowed me to get rid of any resistance and it was clear that she embodies everything she presents. She is sincere with her words in a manner rarely seen and is improving lives on a daily basis. Mine is gladly one.
I attended yesterday’s seminar led by Yvonne Agnello-Adams, and it was awesome! This was primarily due to the fact that Yvonne was able to make it informative and fun, injecting humor with perfect timing. There were lots of tools and tips for procrastinators like me, and today, I had a more productive day already! I have been to a couple of time management seminars in the past, and I have to say, none of them were able to hold my focus for longer than two hours. Yvonne succeeded in keeping my attention for the entire course! I would be more than happy to recommend this seminar to friends and co-workers.
Yvonne: you are the best trainer EVER! You're fun, interesting, passionate about what you do, a tremendous story teller, and high energy. You make learning fun!
I attended a seminar with Yvonne Agnello-Adams; I would like to share my experience with you. After our performance reviews at my job, we are allowed to present professional development opportunities that we would like to take advantage of and this year I chose a SkillPath seminar. I have never attended a seminar like this before and I will admit I was excited but also a bit reserved. I was worried that the seminar would be too full so I would feel lost in the crowd, that the presenter would be some phony salesperson just trying to get us to buy something more or that the concepts of the seminar would be above my head. Instead I was met by Yvonne and a cozy room full of 17 other people, just like me! Yvonne is smart, that’s what I kept thinking. She is really smart. Better yet, she loves what she does. Yvonne’s confidence when she spoke was something I most admired. Her ability to connect with each of the attendees no matter age, gender, race, class etc. was remarkable. A variety of teaching techniques allowed Yvonne to cater to different learning styles, my favorite being her stories! Not only do they help me to connect the points taught in the seminar to real life events, but they are fun! I was excited that when I left the seminar that I had tools to put into practice right away when I went back to work. I really loved Yvonne’s Pocket Phrase’s and I think I will be using them a lot. They will allow me to respond in a professional manner rather than the sarcastic reaction that is my usual go-to. I also purchased the Business Communication Style Guide book and it came with the Embracing Change CD. I have already put the book into use and look forward to watching the DVD and maybe showing it to a few people around the office! The best thing about this seminar was how excited and proud my boss was of me for what I learned and the resources I chose to get to better myself professionally. Yvonne and SkillPath gave me the tools to help me be a successful and effective communicator in my workplace and I want to thank you for that.
I want to let you know you have an amazing, skilled and thoughtful instructor, Yvonne. Yvonne has been the best instructor I have had yet. She is charismatic all while keeping the class in line with what she is teaching. I have gained valuable life skills that I plan on incorporating into my work/personal life. You have someone very special who cares for her job and is very good at it.
Ms. Agnello-Adams did a fantastic job teaching us a large variety of different ways to be more organized. Her vast knowledge and deep experience allowed her to give specific and detailed stories to highlight points, answer questions, and provide relevant examples. Her delivery was mixed with seriousness, playfulness, and humor which kept the class leaning forward and engaged. I can’t emphasize enough how well she connected with the class. Her energetic style combined with her strong comprehension of the subject matter, excellent visuals, and great handout materials was a winning combination. Each attendee came out of the class feeling positive and more learned on subject matter.
I wanted to send my kudos to the instructor and seminar today. My trainer was Yvonne Agnello-Adams. She was fantastic. She kept me engaged all day during the seminar. She allowed the class to have open discussions about the topics we covered and also gave us real life experiences. I have had many instructors and she was one of my top trainers since attending seminars. She was awesome, I can't say enough about her training class today. She made it very enjoyable to spend the day in the classroom.
I wanted to take the time to write to you about a wonderful experience I had yesterday with a trainer by the name of Yvonne. I think she is an inspiration to women and a very talented lady. I have attended many classes and her class was by far the best. I hope to achieve some of the goals that she gave us in my career and take a lot of the advice and use it in a positive way. She is a real gem!!!
I attended a seminar today and I was very excited when I saw that Yvonne was one of the trainers. I attended another seminar taught by Yvonne before and I really enjoyed the course, so I knew that I would enjoy this one as well. I attended 4 out of the 5 sections that she taught today, (even though I was more interested in the topics that were covered in the other track) because I knew that I would enjoy the session and take away some great information. Yvonne was just as energetic and knowledgeable during the sessions today as she was last time, and I learn many useful pieces of information that I plan to use right away (tonight even). I walked away from the seminar today feeling refreshed and energized, and I hope to attend another one of her seminars in the near future. Thank you Yvonne!!
